About Don Jose Abarca

Artist Don Jose Abarca originating in Ajijic, Jal.Mexico. Born May 2, 1933 with the solar eclipse that was raised that year. He began self-taught, drawing and painting in his childhood, as he grew he learned more about this art so vast, some 20 years ago. After suffering a heart attack this artist decided to fully devote his heart to painting. Showing his great talent he is invited to exhibit in galleries, embassies and cultural centers in various continents around the world. When interviewing this simple man with great culture he said "words come from the heart" and proceeded to explain: "There are rules that must be respected". "A cold box must have a warm spot and viceversa". The horizon line should never share the center". And thus we continued in a very interesting conversation in which he also tells me "A good painter makes his own colors, and mixtures". Then with a glow of brightness and depth in his eyes he points slightly, to see the beauty of the trees that are in front of his gallery which also have a soft carpet of purple flowers and in the back ground a sunset of pink and light blue colors then he says: "How was I not going to paint these wonders!". All of his paintings have been born to convey something to the theme which are part of him, as his children. To finalize he opens an invitation for everyone to paint: "it's very easy to start and serves for great therapy, don't pressure yourself to be famous just create and find the painter that we all have within us".
